  • Mr. Geoff Maus has worked in the TrafFix Devices Engineering Department for more than 14 years. He and his team lead the technical development and innovation of TrafFix Devices. He is named in more than 30 U.S. and worldwide patents. In his years in the Highway Safety Industry, he has developed new life saving products such as the SLED End Treatment and Scorpion Trailer Attenuator as well as refining existing products such as the Scorpion Truck Mounted Attenuator and the Big Sandy Crash Cushion. These and other products he has developed and enhanced under his employ are designed and engineered to protect the lives of highway workers and motorists traveling on the roadways in countries all around the world.

    In addition to his leadership within the Engineering Department at TrafFix Devices, Inc., he is a contributing member to the following: Subcommittee Task Force 13, Transportation Research Board (TRB) and its subcommittee AFB20, American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA), and International Road Federation (IRF).

    His career is dedicated to protecting and saving lives around the globe.

    Mr. Maus lives in Orange County, California with his wife Krista. They have three children.
