  • Project Status
    Complete
    Research Objective
The objectives of this study are to: 1) develop models to predict both surface runoff and sediment yield from highway systems under different conditions; and 2) evaluate how to incorporate models into the design and management of BMPs for highway runoff control.
    Potential Benefits
We will develop models to estimate sediment yield and delivery for different settings under different environmental and weather conditions, which can be used to evaluate the sediment effects on BMP design and management. This project will assist in the planning, design, and management of structural BMPs for highway runoff control.
