Dr. Jill Hough

Dr. Jill Hough an Associate Professor of Transportation at North Dakota State University and a Program Director at the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute, led a seminar on becoming a person of influence and positively impacting the lives of others. The talk, attended by Engineering graduate students, faculty, and staff, covered how to become influential and the responsibilities one has as a leader, both in academia and the industry. She also gave students tips about how to succeed when just entering the workforce at an entry-level position, which includes showing integrity, connecting with peers and other leaders, and empowering others.
