Mr. Lonnie Burklund

Lonnie Burklund is the assistant director for Transportation Public Works and Utilities at the City of Lincoln. He was also the manager of traffic engineering at the City of Lincoln and has had experience at mulitple engineering firms. He explained the purpose and benefits of recent City of Lincoln transportation projects including the bike plan and Green Light Lincoln. Mr. Burklund discussed the future of transportation technologies and the important role student engineers will have in producing them.
