Dr. Lilian Rezende

MATC had the privilege of connecting with Dr. Lilian Rezende from the Federal University of Goiás-Brazil. She has been an associate professor at the university since 2002, teaching both undergraduate and graduate students in civil engineering while also conducting research. She provided an overview of the research and facilities at UFG, including the extensive study on phosphogypsum waste developed during production of phosphate fertilizers. Dr. Rezende is working with UNL as a Fulbright visiting scholar to study hard mix asphalt and perform multiscale analyses and strain sweep tests in order to improve Brazilian pavements.
