Mr. Dwight W. Clark presented for students, faculty, and staff on emerging technologies in the railroad industry. He has over 37 years of experience in the industry, is an AREMA past president, and retired Union Pacific Railroad General Director of Engineering Technology. His presentation gives an overview of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-way Association, which has over 23 student chapters. Mr. Clark explained that there are always new and better technologies in track design and construction, components, and geometry coming out, and it is something both students and experts can be a part of.
